TNA Sets Up A Wrestling Match With People Who Cant Wrestle.

On July 19th 2009 at the iMPACT Zone in Orlando Florida, TNA put on its annual Victory Road pay per view.

One of the matches on the PPV was a singles match between Sharmell and Jenna Morasca. Morasca had debuted a couple of months earlier as the “financial backer” to the Main Event Mafia. Sharmell and Jenna would get in numerous bickering fights about how there should only one women in the MEM and led to a catfight on an edition of iMPACT in May. Awesome Kong would eventually take Jenna under her wing to train her for an upcoming match against Sharmell and that match would take place at the Victory Road PPV.

Kong obviously didn’t train Jenna enough as these two women would proceed to put on quite possibly the worst match in TNA history.

The match started innocently enough but as the match went on, it became apparent that neither women had ANY wrestling training what so ever. Both women would slowly and sloppily run the ropes, and Jenna wouldn’t sell anything. At one point Sharmell would attempt to slap the back of Jenna head repeatedly only to miss every single time. Within two minutes of the match starting a loud “boring” chant started and someone attempted to start a “FIRE RUSSO” chant. Later on Sharmell would get Jenna in the corner and attempt to slap her and missed completely and Jenna sold it as if she did. Jenna would then retaliate with horrible slaps of her own as they were slow, hardly connected and pretty much missed Sharmell completely and yet Sharmell sold them as if they had. The crowed showed their disapproval by booing loudly and after 6 agonizing minutes, the match would mercifully but uneventfully end after a single weak chop by Awesome Kong to Sharmell. Awesome Kong would manage to pop the crowd after the match by destroying Jenna Morasca.
