Messiah Powerbombs Zandig To Cement Floor.

On March 6, 2004 at CZW's Extreme Overdrive, CZW owner Zandig took on Messiah in the main event.

At one point in the match, Messiah was on the outside setting up a table as Zandig bled in the ring. At first, Messiah set the table up vertical to the ring apron but quickly changed his mind and re-set the table horizontally. This seemingly minuet event may have been what led up to Zandig's following injury.

When Messiah returned to the ring, the two men traded punches and moves back and forth until Zandig ended up standing on the ring apron after being dropkicked over the top rope. Messiah charged at him and attempted a sunset powerbomb over the top rope and through the set table.

However, the table was too close to the ring and Zandig smacked the back of his head on bare concrete with not even the table cushioning the brutal impact.

The injury was severe enough to keep Zandig out of the ring for over a year.
