The Messiah Is Attacked In His Home.

On the night of August 1, 2002, Former XPW Wrestler The Messiah was sitting at home when he was attacked by two unknown assailants.

The attackers used a pair of garden shears to cut off his thumb, Messiah was able to break free afterward, but being unable to unlock the door due to his missing thumb, The attackers tackled him again and tried to take off his pants, in what he assumed was an attempt to cut off his penis.

A major suspect in the attack was Then XPW Owner Rob Black. Black had accused Messiah of sleeping with his wife Lizzy Borden and it was a widely speculated rumor.

After leaving XPW due to the situation this caused, Messiah wrestled for other local wrestling promotions. During a show for the federation EPIC, the crowd began to chant “You fucked Lizzy!” After a while of this happening, Messiah grabbed the mic and said “She loved it”

The attack happened shortly after this which lead many to speculate that Black may have been involved.

As of this time, no one has been arrested in connection with the attack.
