Dean Malenko Seriously Injures Bret Hart's Groin. On November 23, 1998, Dean Malenko took on Bret Hart during WCW's Monday Nitro. At one point in the match, Dean Malenko picked up Bret Hart in a suplex position and literally crotched him on the top turnbuckle. Bret Hart became nearly motionless and almost seemed paralyzed as he hung there on the top rope in terrible pain. Poor Bret sat on the floor nursing his injury, but got up to "walk it off", and had some trouble entering the ring. Amazingly, after suffering an injury that would put him on the shelf for several weeks, Hart continued the match with Malenko for 6 minutes afterward after receiving the injury. |
