CM Punk and Bradshaw Collide Heads Causing Injury.

During the 21st annual WWE PPV Summerslam that took place on August 17, 2008 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, CM Punk took on John "Bradshaw" Layfield for the World Heavyweight Championship

Toward the end of the match JBL went for his finisher “The Clothesline from Hell” but Punk cut him off early with a leg lariat.

Punk landed stomach first on the ground and JBL reacted to the move for a second before landing on the ground himself.

As JBL crashed to the mat, his head collided with the back of Punks. The impact caused a gash in the back of Punks head that immediately started bleeding.

The doctors backstage mentioned that he would need 4-5 stitches and 7-8 staples to close the wound.
