Andre The Giant Arrested After Attacking Camera Man.

During a WWE house show in Linn Country, Iowa in 1989, Andre the Giant took on the Ultimate Warrior.

During that time, Andre and Warrior were engaged in a big feud. One of the main attractions of the feud was if Warrior could body slam the near 600 lbs Andre the Giant. Before the spot was televised on national T.V., Warrior had slammed Andre several times during their house shows but it had never been mentioned or shown on TV yet.

A local TV camera man was there to film vignettes from the show but was told specifically not to record anything during the Warrior/Giant match so the body slam wouldn't be seen before WWE wanted the audience to see it.

Despite being told not too, the camera man did film several incidents from the match but never recorded the body slam as told. Andre, angered at the camera man for disrespecting his wishes and recording pieces of the match, ripped the cable from the camera and proceeded to put the camera man in a headlock.

Andre was arrested for the incident and faced charges though it is not known how the case was resolved.
