Abyss Gets Burned By A Flaming Table.

During the TNA PPV Bound For Glory that took place on October 12, 2008 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, Beer Money, Inc (Robert Roode and James Storm) (with Jacqueline) took on Abyss and Matt Morgan, Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon), and The Latin American Xchange (Homicide and Hernandez) in a Four Way Tag Team Monster's Ball match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Steve "Mongo" McMichael as Special Guest Referee.

At one point in the match, Team 3D double choke slammed Abyss onto a table that had been doused in Zippo fluid and lit on fire.

The large amount of fluid used covered Abyss’s back and arms during the impact so much that the first spray of the fire extinguisher failed to put him out completely.

Abyss suffered burns on his arms due to the incident.
